Writing has taken Taylor to some amazing places. From 10,000 feet in the air on a hang glider, to climbing a glacial cirque with a father in search of his missing son, to the inside of a homeless man’s riverside dwelling, writing has moved Taylor. It is why he first landed west of the Mississippi, far from his hometown north of Chicago. It is how he landed at Outlaw in the summer of 2011 to write and report for the Big Sky Weekly and Mountain Outlaw publications, and to create other narrative content for the firm. He has written for the Montana Kaimin and MCLA magazine and worked as a news anchor at KBGA – Missoula.
